Matthew has become an extremely important character, to me. He's about as real as a made up person can get, Ruby Sparks not-withstanding. He started out as just a simple idea - this nice guy who's struggling through a bad relationship, and is drawn to a guy who has even more problems that he does. 



His relevance to me has a great amount to do with the Roleplay in which he is in. I have a marvelous partner - my friend Mau - and we work together great, always brain storming and chatting about "our boys" Matt and Jase.
